We are proud to announce that Sijtze has been awarded with the Honorary Membership of ANSE – a heartfelt recognition of his exceptional contributions to our European community of supervision.

On the same day he received his well-deserved “Lintje”, we at ANSE gathered to honour Sijtze for his decades-long dedication, leadership, and unwavering support. As a key contributor, he has been a steady rock in turbulent times, offering not only structure and vision but also warmth and inspiration.
With 11 years as the LVSC delegate, 4 years as Chief Editor of the ANSE Journal, 4 years as Vice President and another 4 as President, Sijtze’s impact spans across every corner of our network. His strong presence, clear voice, and passionate drive to uplift and connect people have truly raised the quality of our profession – “every time he enters the space,” as Barbara Gogala beautifully said.
Sijtze embodies the heart and soul of ANSE. This honorary membership is a small symbol of our deep appreciation and admiration. We thank you, Sijtze, for your legacy, your leadership, and your unwavering belief in what we do – and who we are.
